Tones: Bridges in Kamakura

To teach myself, I often manipulate the same photograph with different settings. Sometimes I can’t decide what makes one better than another. Perhaps you can help me while I’m away on holiday. God only knows how many photos I’ll come back with. You don’t want me to make a mess of them, do you? 😉

  1. Steven Santos ! – you know perfectly well that WE can’t help you ! We can only look on and have little idea of why we like some and not so much others … YOU must make all the decisions on your way to becoming A Photographer !!!

  2. I don’t think I’m answering your question, but… I love the top featured photograph here (of the stairs up to the gate through the trees). It is somehow both sharp and soft at once. Is it a longer exposure that gives this effect? Very satisfying.

What's that you say? I can't quite hear you. Do you mind writing that down here? ;)
