What emoji(s) do you like to use?
I committed to writing a blog post in ‘Bloganuary’ everyday for a month. But some of these prompts…

I only recently started using emoji’s, like maybe two weeks ago (true story). They are not readily available on my computer keyboard without hand acrobatics and changing menus on my smart phone is too troublesome. And finding the right one — it was only yesterday that I figured out there’s a search bar!
Favorite emoji’s?
Well, because I write so many comments on YouTube this little guy is, maybe, my favorite. 🤤You get it by typing 美味しそう (and as I just found out “delicious” brings it up, too).
I’m really unclear what these various smiling emojis represent, only that I do feel a tonal difference I can’t justify. ☺️😄😁😊😀😃
I really have no idea what what this guy means. 😅 I kinda think he’s breaking a sweat and the description reads “grinning face with sweat” as if smiling makes you sweat? Like the peach 🍑I don’t really get it — and on this topic, it took me way too long to figure out 🍆. And how do you use 🍆 in a sentence? Is it the adjective, subject or predicate? I really don’t know.
On YouTube people leave sentences composed only of emojis and I’ve no idea if it’s a complement or an insult. Google Translate is no help and if Google can’t translate it, does it really have a meaning (philosophical question for you). BTW, if I don’t have my glasses on, any effort one takes in adding emojis is just wasted: I just see blobs of color.
So emojis 🤷♂️.

What’s a better prompt than this or one that you would have rather seen? Tell me in the comments.
The smiling with sweat emoji usually implies discomfort but you’re still smiling. The more apt description is smiling through embarrassment!
And with the various smiley faces, there is no actual difference except the blushing!!
The peach emoji is butt cheeks and the eggplant is a penis. So when used in a conversation it basically implies sex!
On your laptop, if its Windows then by clicking the windows icon and full stop/period icon simultaneously brings up the emoji bar!

First, I loved the humor in your blog on emojis as I can so relate. I did not know there was a search. You are correct in Google does not interpret, and I have not found a site that does. I read the comments before writing this one. I got an education. I think I will leave the use of emojis to others.

If you want a laugh, Google how to swear with emojis. 😁

Emojis are cute. Breaks up the text.

Ah, my dear, we disagree:
Punctuation and paragraphs break up the text; fonts and their various points decorate the text; and emojis stain the page in blobs of (mostly) yellow or red.

You know how I feel about these prompts, they’re becoming more mindless as this whole things rolls on. Yes, I use emojis all the time. Who doesn’t. But seriously who cares which ones I use. 🤷🏽♀️ Does it really matter? And to write a whole post about it? 🤮. And P.S. I wouldn’t use the eggplant emoji as widely as you do. Unless you want to of course. 😂😆😂

lol, right! They’re getting fancy with all this emoji stuff. Soon they’re going to animate them — just you wait and see!

Also the ‘peach’ emoji is code for butt cheeks

Hahahahaha the purple eggplant emoji is code for PENIS and gets used a lot by teenagers, bless your heart. I loved reading your blog today. I really needed to giggle and you provided that xx

I’m glad. Your laughter is the one good thing about this prompt. 😉

Oh, Lord. The prompts are getting worse and worse, it seems.
I don’t use emojis all that often. A smiley face 🙂 is what I do most often. My new phone has the emoji search bar, too. It’s annoying when I type words and it suggests emojis and when I click on it, the word disappears and an emoji appears. Can’t I have BOTH?!

Right! I can’t imagine how much worse these prompts can get — but I’m sure we’ll find out.
I have the same beef with typing and the emojis. It’s annoying, so I just prefer the good ol’ 🙂
